Pauline Connell
Pastoral supervisor
With over 20 years of ministry experience and a deep commitment to the well-being of those in pastoral roles, Pauline offers thoughtful and faith-informed pastoral supervision for those serving in ministry, chaplaincy and within worshiping communities.
Pauline has extensive experience ministering within a worshiping community and as a hospital and prison chaplain. Pauline brings compassion, support and insight into some of the most complex and challenging environments. Her supervision practice is informed by her studies, ministry and personal experiences. Pauline’s working life began as a registered nurse and midwife before a change in focus drew her to ministry roles which led to her ministry, counselling and supervision studies.
Pauline offers a confidential space for people to be heard, to reflect and review their practices, discovering more ways to sustain themselves within their ministry.
Pauline believes supervision is much more than a check-in; it is a vital space for ongoing formation and self-care. Supporting the practitioner allows them to continue to face the challenges that are presented and leads to better outcomes for clients and a decrease in practitioner burn out.
